Standing on God's Promises
Straight from the heart!!!
Someone, probably several someone's, carefully
counted all of the promises of God that are
recorded in the Bible, I understand that the
count numbers into the thousands! What really
counts, though, is the God of the promises!
"There has not failed one word of all His good
promise which He promised." What promises from
God are you claiming today? What do you really
expect God to do in your life? To your life? For
your life? Do you remember some of the extra
special and personal promises from God? Have you
claimed them as your own? Have you thanked Him in
advance that "What He said, that will He do? Or
have you experienced so many broken promises from
others that you are not sure you can even trust
God's promises?
One of my favorite promises
from God is "I will never leave you nor forsake
you." His presence is continual and constant.
Always comforting. Sometimes convincing, But
always - always there.
His promises are not
dependent on my feelings or my failings.
Circumstances and situations do not become so
powerful as to defeat God's promises. "What He
has promised, that will He do."
Read God's
promises in the Bible. Write down the ones you
need to remember during these particularly
challenging times. Thank Him that He made these
promises to you and that not one word of all His
good promises will fail with you.
